1. TOOLS
1.1 1 m3 test chamber per annex A.2 in standard EN717-1
1.2 Spectrophotometer
1.3 Aluminum foil
2. SAMPLING
1mē
3. ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
Temperature: 23 (+/-0.5) ℃
Humidity: 45 (+/-3) %
Loading factor: (1.0+/-0.02) m2/m3
Air exchange rate: (1.0+/-0.05) /h
Air velocity at the surface of test pieces: (0.1 to 0.3) m/s
4. TESTING PROCEDURE
4.1 Use aluminum foil to seal all sample faces except for the top one

4.2 Place the samples in the centre of the small formaldehyde testing chamber and start testing under the conditions established

4.3 Sample the air periodically until formaldehyde emission readings are stable

4.4 With the help of the spectrophotometer, calculate formaldehyde release level

4.5 Fill the report
