ABRASION RESISTANCE - GB/T18102-2007 (6.3.11) (adapted)
1. TOOLS
1.1 JM-IV model machine for testing abrasion resistance 1.2 Dust collector 1.3 Sandpaper (180#) 1.4 Adhesive tape with two adhesive sides
2. SAMPLING
1*100x100 mm with a hole in the middle.
3. ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
Temperature: 23(+/-2)° C
Humidity: 50(+/-5)%
4.TESTING PROCEDURE
4.1 Clean the sample surface with the surgical gauze

4.2 Draw straight lines linking opposite sample corners in order to create 4 quadrants on the sample surface

4.3 Place the sample on the tester and bring the wheels down onto the sample at 4.9 (+/- 0.2) N

4.4 Switch on the tester and change the sand paper every 500 turns

4.5 We then continue with the cycles
4.6 When the Final Point (FP) of abrasion is reached, we note again the number of cycles
5. ASSESSING TEST RESULTS
There should be no decorative paper exposure in excess of 0.6 mm² in at least 3 of the 4 sample quadrants
P ≥ 4,000 cycles: minimum AC2-22 abrasion resistance
P ≥ 6,000 cycles: minimum AC3-31 abrasion resistance
P ≥ 9,000 cycles: minimum AC4-32 abrasion resistance
