RESISTANCE TO HIGH-LOW TEMPERATURE CYCLES - GB/T 24508-2009

1. TOOLS
1.1 Drying equipment with minimum temperature range 40℃-200℃, ensuring free internal circulation accurate to +/-1℃
1.2 Freezer capable of reaching minimum -35℃, accurate to+/-1℃
1.3 Vernier caliper accurate to 0.02 mm

2. SAMPLING
3*180xwidth of product mm. If the product width is>180 mm, the sample width should be 180 mm

3. TESTING PROCEDURE
3.1 Clean the samples with absorbent gauze impregnated with alcohol and let it dry in the open air
3.2 Mark the centre point of both short ends and then draw a line linking these 2 centre points. Measure the length of the line (L1) accurate to 0.02 mm



3.3 Test the samples as below:
(23±2)℃→(-29±2)℃→(23±2)℃→(52±2)℃
         1h            6h           1h          16h





3.4 Condition the samples in 23(+/-2)℃ over 6 hours, view the surface under natural light and measure the length (L2) accurate to 0.02 mm

3.5 Record whether the surface has cracked or blistered

3.6 Calculate the change in dimension △L = L2 - L1

4. ASSESSING TEST RESULTS
Passing requirement:
Surface: no crack, no blister
Dimensional change: ≤0.5 mm
